Increasing complexity among the latest in-car infotainment systems (HMI) does not only make current drivers confused, but have a radical negative impact on road safety. Multiple numbers of touch-screen controls and the lack of physical input methods inside new car models might seem trendy and fancy, but make more distraction and raise safety concerns.
With an integrated multi-discipline approach we are able to find a way to make the future of road-transportation safe, easy to use and enjoyable for both drivers and/or passengers. Also much more appealing to investors who are looking for well researched and stable vision on the future of transportation.
PROJECT SENSE is an experimental, complete solution for creating an intuitive HMI that elevates in-car User Experience to a whole new level, meanwhile not sacrificing road safety and driving experience.
Integrity on all senses - Perfectly integrating the Visual, Audible and Haptic feedback is the key to the best possible User Experience. It has to be instinctually easy to use and adapt to. It has to disappear in the interaction. Focusing on the automotive industry we have to define a straight forward R&D path for Project Sense. This is a big topic, so we need to divide this journey to multiple doable steps in order to make it successful and profitable.
